Bless the Lord right now. Go ahead. Bless the Lord. Amen. So, basically, earlier this week, we covered the the kingdom mindset, and we had said that the kingdom mindset is a mindset that is the same as the mindset of Christ.

prior to this, we talked about faith. We said that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. We talked about how when God gives you faith, number one, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. But when God gives you faith, he's giving you the evidence and he's giving you that substance. Is that correct?

Amen. Amen. And then we went on to talk about the kingdom mindset. And we broke the word kingdom down into two words, the king's dominion.

Okay? Now we realize that Jesus is the king of kings and the lord of lords, and it is our hearts that he rules. We are the atmosphere in which Christ rules. Amen?

And so we talked about how that kingdom mindset is really the mind of Christ. Now let me ask you a question. What is it that's going through your mind right now? Don't don't get too deep on anybody. What is it that that goes through a mind of a person?

Not not you in particular, but the mind of a person. What is it that goes through your mind?

Right? We talked about faith, and we said what? And then this is basic stuff, but it's basic for a reason. If you sow a thought, you reap a what? If you sow a thought, you reap a You reap a word.

Somebody paying attention. Boy, move to the front of the class. If you sow a word, you reap a what? You reap a action. Action.

If you sow a action, you reap a what? Habit. You reap a habit. If you sow a habit, you reap a what? Character.

If you sow a character, you reap a what? You reach a destination.

You reap so so, ultimately, when a thought comes to you, when a thought is coming to you, it's ultimately coming for one or two reasons. It's coming and whoever has the notes, y'all help Shaila, is coming to to take you from a thought to a destination. You hear what I'm saying? So it's important that we have the mind of Christ because the mind of Christ is coming what? If we allow the mind to be in us, it's coming to take us from his thoughts to the ultimate destiny that he's taking us to.

It is so important to understand that when a thought comes to your mind, that thought that I had back in the gap when I when I have been clean a year, I have been clean a year and a half, and I've arrived by myself and I just got paid. I had got off at Tesla. I was making about $2,000 a week at Tesla doing low votes at electrical. Well, I had a thought.

And the thought was, oh, you can stop you can stop on Cameron Road and and you can you can get you a little hula, and you you can get you a lighter, and you, you know, you can get you a little black and mild, and you've been clean for a year and a half, and you just just just one just $1.20. Just $1.20. Just just go ahead, go in the store and buy your little Brillo, your little brown your brown sack, your little Brillo and your little rose and you know what saying? And all that. You you know, you can just get you just just a little something.

You see? Mhmm. That thought No. That little thought ended up growing and growing and growing, and I ended up out there for days and days with the car. My wife hadn't seen me from the time I left home four days before that, that morning, going to work, going to do my job at Tesla as a as a subcontractor being paid 30 some odd dollars a hour, basically making $2,000 a a week plus.

That that would take home. Amen? But I ended up back at the crack house. I ended I ended up back with with with with hitting licks and jumping over counters, but I got a job. I ain't been home.

I ain't calling. I ain't answering my phone. So once again, sow a thought, reap a word. Sow a word, reap a action. Sow an action, reap a habit.

Verse six, who being in the form of God did not consider robbery to be equal with God, but made himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant and coming in the likeness of men, and being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

Amen? We read verses five through eight in Philippians the second chapter. And so, basically, the mind of Christ is he came in the form of a servant. He didn't count as you know, he didn't run out the reputation. He wasn't trying to to it wasn't about him.

It was about the will of the father. We said that. Remember that? We talked about the will of the father. And we also talked about how in in the in the in the discourse of him being baptized by John the Baptist, that when he went down under the water and was baptized by John, that that water represented a watery grave.

It also it represented him dying to his own will and doing the will of the father. Amen. And and so today's topic is a spin off from the mindset of the kingdom and the mind of Christ, which it in in order to do this, it takes the mind of Christ. Living by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. In other words, to have the mind of Christ, what does that really mean?

It means by you you live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. See see, that's really the will of God. Amen. Amen. The will of God is his word.

So once again, we we we talked about the kingdom mindset being the mind of Christ, and we we looked at Philippians the second chapter verses five through eight showing what what the mind of Christ is. And he exhorts us as our savior. He says, let this mind be in you, which was also what? In Christ Jesus, in our elder brother, in our savior, in our Lord, in salvation himself.

Let this mind be in you. And he gave up his life for us. He came to do the will of the father. And here we see these verses are gonna reflect that he came to do the father's will. He was about our father's business and not his own.
