The Kingdom Within: Righteousness, Peace and Joy

[00:00:00] Okay, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen. Bless the Lord. So, good morning. We just basically want to just continue to worship God in what we do. Amen. I'm so glad everybody is there. Amen. Bless Jesus today. How y'all feeling today?

[00:00:20] Right. Even though your feelings don't matter. What matters is your faith. The devil ain't after your feelings. He's after your faith. Amen. Y'all can be seated. Amen. I'm gonna pray. I'm gonna pray. Father, we just bless you right now. We do all things unto you. Everything we do in word and in deed, we do it unto your name, O Lord. And we bless you, O Lord. In the name of Jesus Christ, we magnify, glorify, exalt you today. In Jesus' name we pray.

[00:00:50] Amen, Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. All right. All right, Amen. So, we are, I'm recording too as well. What I want to do is to want you to listen to a song. I always have a song, Encourage Your Heart. Amen. This is by Kiki Sheard, who is the descendant of a Clark sister. Amen. So, just check the song out. So, whenever you're flying high.

[00:01:20] So, whenever you're flying high, you're gonna have some fun. That's why I want to encourage you. So, don't give up. Hang in. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

[00:04:35] Come on, Tia LaShine. That's the point. Amen. Amen. So y'all ready to go? Y'all ready to go? All right, Brother Juan. Looks like you ready, boy. Amen. Good to see you, Sister Debbie. Amen, Brother Corey, Brother Sean. Anybody else that's there? Pastor Reggie, amen. Bless the Lord. Amen, amen. So basically, we want to pick up where we left off. We're going to do a little recap right quick, which you know we often do.

[00:05:04] We've been talking about what? The kingdom mindset. The kingdom mindset. And some people may think that when you go back over stuff, oh, man, we heard that before. But just because we heard it don't mean we have it down. You know how you can think you have something and then when you test it, you fail the test. Come on, yeah. The Bible says, test yourself to see if you are in what? The faith. Not in your feelings. Not in your own mind. But in the faith. Amen.

[00:05:33] And this is the same faith that moved mountains. This is the same faith that Gideon had, Deborah had, Esther had. Come on here. Ruth had. The same faith that it takes, amen, to move mountains. The same faith that it takes to overcome persecution, mockery, scoffing. The same faith that it takes in a wicked generation. Come on here. That wants you to compromise. Hallelujah. Your walk with God. That same faith. And when you start coming up, people criticizing you.

[00:06:01] They throwing all kind of stuff at you. You hear what I'm saying? That same faith that Jesus had, amen, that resurrected him from the dead because he is the resurrected. That same faith. It's not a different faith. Come on here. So we know that the kingdom mindset is broken down into two things. Kingdom is two words. The king's dominion. The rulership of Jesus Christ from within to without, within your heart. He is the king of the kingdom.

[00:06:32] Amen. And we are the atmosphere in which Jesus rules. This is what we've been teaching. Amen. Praise Jesus. Not only that is the kingdom mindset dealing with the king and his government and his legislation from within your heart to without, but also we want to realize that the kingdom mindset, we said what, y'all? That the kingdom mindset was what? The mind of Christ. Everybody say that. The mind of Christ. All right. Amen.

[00:06:58] So go with me real quick to Matthew 6 and 10. Get Sister Jeanette to read that Matthew 6 and 10. We get Sister Deborah to read Romans 14 and 17 as it relates to the kingdom mindset initially. And then we're going to go through the whole, go down the list of things. Of course, the last time we talked, we spoke about the voice of God. So we're going somewhere with all of this.

[00:07:28] Go ahead, Sister Jeanette. Amen. Amen. Matthew 6 and 10. That's right. And speak up like somebody going to send you some money on your cash app. Come on here. Your kingdom come. Your will be done. Your kingdom come. Your will be done. So we're talking about the king's dominion. Your kingdom come.

[00:07:53] When you, when you pray that model prayer, you're praying that God rules in your heart today. Allow his government to rule you, to lead you, to guide you. Amen. Amen. Amen. Him being the king, he has every right to. Can you hear me okay, Brother Warren? You're turning your ear to the side. You hear me okay? Amen. Sister Deborah, go ahead and read Romans 14, 17. Please, sister. Amen. Romans 14, 17. Romans 14, verse 17. Romans.

[00:08:23] The book of Romans 14, verse 17. Amen. And then we're going to have you, Warren, get Philippians 2 and 5, verse 5. Okay. Go ahead, sister Deborah. Okay. Go ahead, sister Deborah. Philippians 14, 17. Amen. Amen. Romans 14, verse 17.

[00:08:47] The kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. The kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. So we are in the kingdom. Amen. The rulership, the government of Christ, ruling your hearts, ruling my heart, has to do with three things in that order.

[00:09:17] Righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. So you can't have peace unless you've been made right with God. That's why righteousness comes first. The righteous one died for us, the unrighteous, which made us righteous. Come on here. Amen. So once we've been placed in right standing with God, amen, we have entered into the kingdom. And by being placed in right standing with God, then we have peace with God. Come on here. See, we was at war with God at first. We was fighting against God.

[00:09:47] Our flesh was at war with God according to Galatians 5 and 16. You can write that down if you want to. Galatians 5 and 16 says, so I say live by the spirit, and you will not gratify what? The desires of the sinful nature. But these two are contrary to one another. Amen. Man, they're at war. They're in battle that you don't do what you want to do, that you should do. Come on here. That's Galatians 5 and 16. Come on now. So we realize that the kingdom of God is three things. It's righteousness, peace, and joy.

[00:10:16] Once you have that righteousness, then you have peace. Once you have peace, then you can have joy. Come on now. You ain't got no joy if you ain't got no peace. In that order. Come on now. That is the kingdom. So we should daily endeavor to live in the kingdom of God. We should daily endeavor to live in the kingdom of God. And this is, amen, the kingdom mindset. To have a kingdom mindset is to live in the kingdom. That righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

[00:10:45] That is the first thing. Amen. Coming under the government, the rulership, the legislation of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and our Savior who died for us. Go ahead and read that Philippians 2 and 5. And we're moving right now into looking at more closely the mind of Christ. This is the mind of Christ. Start at verse 5, Brother Juan. Read up. Philippians 2 and 5. And the word of God says, let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. Amen.

[00:11:15] Keep reading. Okay. Number six says, who, because of the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God. Amen. Number seven.

[00:11:46] Right there. Right there. So when we're looking at this, the mind of Christ, it says, let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. So he's not going to force his mind on you. You can function in your own mind and go your own way. I know what my mind led me. My mind led me to the crack house. My mind led me to do crime. My mind led me, amen, to do things that I thought I would never do. Amen. Amen. My mind always led me astray.

[00:12:16] My mind always led me to be in arguments and trouble and conflict and controversy, irritation, aggravation, frustration. Come on here. Come on here. But the kingdom mindset is the mind of Christ. It is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. This is how, this is the reason why you can see folk riding down the road arguing. Because one got one mindset and another got another mindset. Come on here. You see, there's a conflict going on in the world. There's a conflict going on even within us.

[00:12:45] The book of James said, where does wars and rumors of wars come from? Don't they come from among your members that war within you? That war inside of you? Amen. Come on here. So we're talking about a kingdom mindset, which is the mind of Christ. And Christ says in Philippians, through Brother Paul in the second chapter, verse 5, through a few of the following, let this mind be in you. And that is a mind to be about the father's business.

[00:13:10] Not Craig's business, not Jeanette's business, Warren's, Deborah, Corey, or Sean's business, or anyone else's business, Reggie's business, and no one else. To be about the father's business. Come on here. Come on here. Jesus told him one day when he wasn't eating, he said, you know, he said, well, are we going? He said, I have food that you know not of. His food was to do the will of the one that sent him. Now, it's not about us doing our will. It's all about him and not about us. Amen? Amen. Amen.

[00:13:39] Let's move forward. So we got the kingdom mindset. We listed that as what being the mind of Christ. We listed that mind of Christ as being selfish. He came and being unselfish, coming to sacrifice, to die for us, the righteous for the unrighteous. Come on here. Amen. We did the crime and he paid the time. He did the time. He paid the cost. Amen. And so let's look at this as we keep moving. Let's just look a little bit closer at our mind.

[00:14:06] Go to the book of Philippians once again, the second chapter. Read verse two, Brother Corey, verse two of that same Philippians two, verse two. Let's look at something right quick. Go ahead. Fulfill my spirit, if any, affection and mercy. I mean, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. There you go.

[00:14:32] That's part of our statement of faith at Victory Gospel Chapel. Amen. That we will be on one accord, have one mind. We see conflict because everybody wants to do their own thing. No, that's not. Not so in the kingdom of God. In the world, that's the way they roll. But in the kingdom of light, amen, we got one Lord. Amen. One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, over all, in all, and through all. Amen. So we want to be on one accord. Amen.

[00:15:01] It says, fulfill my joy by being what? Like-minded. Having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. You can't be on one accord if you got a different mindset. You're going to always be in conflict. Have you noticed that I've been married 34 years? And one thing we can agree with, bless you, we can agree with is that we don't, it's not about whether I'm right or whether or not my wife is right. Right? It's always about God being right. He is right.

[00:15:29] So we can always agree around God and his word, right? My word really don't count. Her word really don't count. What really counts is God's word. Can you hear me? Y'all all right? Can you hear me? All right. Coming through clear. Amen. Praise God. So it's all about us being, letting the mind of Christ be within us and also being on one accord. Amen. Being of one mind as the body of Christ, as the bride of God, as the body. Of Christ on earth. Amen.

[00:15:58] We need to be on one accord with one another and definitely on one accord with the Lord Jesus. Amen. All right. Want to keep moving here. Want to also look at Colossians. Take that, Sean. Colossians, the third chapter. Let's look at verse two. Colossians three, verse two. Right quick. Amen. Three, verse two. Yes, sir. Colossians chapter three, verse two. Yes, sir.

[00:16:28] The Lord of God reads, says, set your mind on things. Bless you. I'm going to start over again. Verse two. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Come on. Keep reading. Okay. On the earth. For you died and your life is hidden with Christ and God.

[00:16:51] When Christ, who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Very good, man of God. Very good. It says, set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. So you ain't looking at what Rick Ross got. You ain't looking at what all these stars have. You know what I'm saying? You're not competing and comparing with one another or others in the world. But we're setting our mind on the things which are above.

[00:17:20] And the things which are above cannot be shaken and they cannot be moved. Come on here. Come on here. You see, they are staking their whole eternal existence on the things of the earth. The Bible says, what does it profit a man or a woman to gain the whole world and lose their very soul? Wow. For the next question after that is, what shall a man or a woman give in exchange for their soul? There's nothing you can give in exchange for your soul. Amen. Once a person leads from this life to the next and lets in God bring you back.

[00:17:50] Come on here. Ain't no exits. Ain't no water down there. Come on here. Come on here. It's hot. Ain't no temperature control. Come on here. Come on here. Amen. We want to make sure that our anchor goes down and grips the solid rock, Jesus. Amen. And so we want to set our minds on the things that are above and not on the things of the earth. Because the things that are on the earth are passing away. You get a new car today and tomorrow go out and drive on the highway and smash. Somebody come up and rear engine. You know what I'm saying?

[00:18:19] Just then tow your new car up. You upset because the fender, the bumper, it's all in the back seat. Come on here. What y'all know about that? Come on, y'all. Cheer up. Cheer up. Come on here. Come on here. Put your mind on things above. Verse 3 says, for you died. You died. See, that's the mind of Christ. Christ did what for us? He died for us. He died that we could live. For you died. When did you die? When did you die, Jeanette? When did you die, Warren? When did you die, Sean, Corey, Debbie?

[00:18:49] When did you die, Craig? We died when Christ died. See, Christ took up all of us upon himself on the cross. He gathered up everything in the first Adam. See, Christ is the last Adam. He's not the second Adam because the second implies there will be another after him. He's the last Adam. Come on here. He gathered up everything in the earth. He gathered it to himself. He became sin for us. The righteous for the unrighteous. Amen. And he was nailed to that cross.

[00:19:15] When he was nailed to that cross, you also was nailed to that cross by faith. By faith in the name of Jesus. So you died, verse 3 of Colossians, the third chapter, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, is my life appears, then you, then I, then we will appear with him in glory. Amen. You're going to be with him in glory. That's good news. Come on here. Somebody give the Lord an answer.

[00:19:46] Him in glory. Amen. Amen. Let's look at another scripture. We also dealt with faith. We dealt with faith. Now, faith is really important. Of course, faith is kingdom economy. Remember, we're dealing with the kingdom mindset. Right? You can't receive the word of God. Amen. You need, when the word, you can't receive the word of God without God allowing you to. God is the one that pursues us. Amen. God pursued us first. God is the initiator and we are the responders.

[00:20:14] So you think you came to VGC on your own, but you didn't. I didn't. He drew us here. Come on here. God drew you here. The Bible says he draws us with what? Loving kindness. Amen. But you can't receive faith without the word. Come on now. What does the Bible say about faith? Faith comes by what? Words. By hearing. And hearing by what? The word of God. The word of God. Amen. Amen. Look at Romans 10 and 17 concerning our faith. Go ahead and read that, brother Corey.

[00:20:44] Romans 10 and 17. Then I want sister Jeanette to read Hebrews 12 verse 2. Then I want sister Debra to read Hebrews 4 verse 12. That's Hebrews 4 verse 12. I see you leaning into the word. Praise Jesus. The first Hebrews. Amen. The first Hebrews was Hebrews 12 and 2. All right. Then Romans 10 and 17. Brother Corey, go ahead and read.

[00:21:14] Hebrews 12 verse 10. No, you're reading Romans 10 and 17. All right. Let me get that. Romans 10 and 17. Sister Jeanette is reading Hebrews 12 and 2. Sister Debra is reading Hebrews 4 and 12. And this is concerning faith. Amen. Go ahead and read that, brother Corey. Okay. Okay. So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

[00:21:45] Amen. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Hearing by the word of God. I got some cross talk over here. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Amen. Okay. Go ahead. Go ahead. Sister Jeanette. Hebrews 12 and 2. Hebrews 12 and 2. Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. Okay. Read up a little bit louder, Jeanette. I can't hear you.

[00:22:15] Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. Amen. Fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of the faith. So he authored the faith. Okay. It came from him. It's not another faith. It's not faith in faith. A lot of people want to put faith. Oh, I got faith. But we don't have faith in faith. Faith has an object. The object is Jesus. Amen. Our faith.

[00:22:43] You believe in God and his word. Amen. See, God can be trusted. God is reliable. God is dependable. Come on here. Yeah. You, you, sometimes you can't trust yourself. You can't trust people, but you can always trust God. Amen. Amen. Sister Deborah, go ahead and read Hebrews 4 and 12 for us right quick. Amen. Amen. God, it's true. Sister Deborah. Debbie. Okay. Hebrews 4, verse 12.

[00:23:13] Okay. Well, the word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-head sword. Come on here. Think even in the dividing asunder of the soul and spirit and of the joint and marrow. And it is discerning, discerning of the thoughts and in his heart.

[00:23:43] Amen. So for the word of God is alive or living and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing, even to the division of soul and spirit and of joint and of marrow, and is a discerning of the thoughts and the intents of the heart. So when you're serious about coming to God and getting fixed, what we do is we subject ourselves. We come under the authority of the word, hearing the word, having the word wash us. Amen.

[00:24:11] And the word, what it does, it will show you where you are. Everybody agree with that? Yes, sir. Yes, sir. The word of God will expose your heart. The word of God will expose your soul. If you're in the wrong place, the word will show you where you are. Amen. Now, this is also still in keeping with faith. Amen. Anybody have any questions or comments about that? Yeah. Deshaun speaking. Yes, sir.

[00:24:40] So when you want to, let's say like you want to place, right? Yes, sir. You're in a happy place, a good environment. You know, everything is going to here for everything is good. Yes, sir. You just, you just mad. You just mad. You know what I mean? For absolutely no reason. I don't know. It's just kind of like something got to hold you, but everything around you is good. Everything around you is, you're in a good place. The spiritual place is good. But there's something about you that you're angry all the time. What is that about? Like, what is that?

[00:25:08] Well, well, man, this is so, I love these questions, man. It's like, I'm like instant potatoes, man. Just add water, baby. Just add water. That's all you got to do with me. Just add water. I'm like, I'm like a Roman noodle soup. Just add hot water, baby. Just add salt, pepper, add salt. You're going to activate it. Just activate it. Let me show you how it works. See, this is the issue that we fail to realize. Yes, sir. Man is a triune being. That means you are a spirit. You have a soul.

[00:25:37] And you live in the body that you have. Let me say that again. Man is a triune being. That's three. You are a spirit. You don't just have a spirit. You are a spirit. You are a spirit. You have a soul. And you live in the body. So when I refer to you, I'm referring to spirit you. Not flesh you. Not soul you. But spirit you. Come on here. Come on here. God is a spirit. And those who worship him must what? Worship him in spirit and in truth.

[00:26:07] That is according to the word, which is spirit. And the word is truth. So watch this. So when you feel in some kind of way, where is it at? Is it in your spirit? Is it in your soul? Or is it in your flesh? Brother Sean. Okay. I believe it's in the spirit. No. It's not in the spirit. Because the spirit is where God dwells. And no flesh can tarry in his sight. No sin can be in his presence.

[00:26:37] So it's not in your spirit. So your spirit is perfect. Your spirit is perfect. Yeah. Yeah. You know why? Because your spirit has been made alive quickened by the Holy Ghost. Amen. According to scripture. So it's not the spirit. It may be your soul and your body. See, when you start feeling some kind of way, you talk about angry. Right? You say, all is going well, but you still feeling kind of angry. Well, where is everything well at? It's well in your spirit. It's well in your spirit.

[00:27:06] It is well in the spirit too, as well with God. Right? Yes, sir. Your soul is what gets trouble. Your soul is where sin can reside. Okay. Go to Romans, the second chapter, 12th chapter. Right? Romans, 12th chapter. Brother Sean, real quick. Real quick. You got to be quick. Quick draw. You got to. I draw my sword. I pull that sword out, but I'm ready for that devil. Pull that sword out and ready to go to war. Come on, Juan. I see you looking.

[00:27:35] Romans 12. Romans 12. Verse 1 and 2. Romans 12, verse 1 and 2. Come on here. Read. Read, my brother. Romans what? Romans 12, verse 1 and 2. This is an answer to your question. What's going on with me? You know, where is this war going on at? Come on here. Romans. Verse 1. Verse 1. Verse 1 and 2.

[00:28:05] Yeah. Chapter 1, verse 2. The word of God reads. No, Romans 12. Verse 1 and 2. Excuse me. Excuse me. Excuse me. Romans 12, verse 1. Verse 1 and 2. Verse 1 and 2. Romans 12, chapter 1, verses 1 and 2. Verse 1. I beseech you. Therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice. Okay.

[00:28:35] Now, let's talk about that. Keep your finger right there. Why would God tell you to present your body as a living sacrifice? Where is the temple? If your body was right, why is he telling you to kill it? Because a sacrifice is a living. You got to die to live. Okay. All right. All right. What are you dying to? Say it again. What are you dying to? What are you dying to? To him. No.

[00:29:04] You're dying to sin. Oh, I think you said whatever he's tied to. I think you said whatever he's tied to. No. You're dying to sin. So he says, present your body as a living sacrifice. It's alive, but you are putting it under. You are denying it. You are reckoning yourself dead to its inclinations. Because your body has what? These inclinations, these urges to do things, right? Am I right about it?

[00:29:34] Yes. Your body want to do stuff. It ain't supposed to do it. Don't be looking at me like a deer in headlights. Don't be looking at me like you don't know what's going on. Right, right, right. You might fool me sometime, but you can't fool God anytime. Come on here. I'm in the pain. Think I ain't? Now watch this. So he said, present your body as a living sacrifice. Well, wait a minute. Where is the problem coming from? It's coming also from your soul.

[00:30:03] Oh, sin is in the soul. Read verse 2. See, I can't present my body. As a living sacrifice until I do verse 2. Read verse 2, Brother Sean, real quick. Verse 2. And do not be conformed to this world. What? Wait a minute. I can't hear you. What? What did you say? Don't be what? Say it again? Verse 2 says, and do not be conformed to this world. Oh, well, what does that word conform mean?

[00:30:34] It means to be fashioned after. It means fashion. That's the same word they use for fashion in the world. Whether you got Dolce Gabbana or Fendi or whatever. Gucci. Oh, I'm Gucci. How you doing today? I'm Gucci. I'm Louis Vuitton. saun. Popping up your room? Ha, ha, ha. Brr. Yeah. It's the same word that they use. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.

[00:31:03] I'm Victoria's Secret. Ha, ha, ha, ha. Come on here, somebody. We're in the paint. Look. Look. He said, don't be conformed after the fashion of this world. Also, it's the same word as pattern. And the word pattern means father in the Aramaic and the Hebrew, it means father. In other words, don't go according to the father of this world, which is not Jesus, which is not God the father. It's Satan. Come on here.

[00:31:33] In other words, don't be trying to look like the world be looking like the devil. Don't be in the pattern of Satan. Yeah. Yeah. But what? Be what? Transform. Read the rest of the story. Transform. Come on. Read the rest of that, brother Sean. But, okay. And do not, I'm going to read it from the start of the time. And do not be conformed to this world. That's right.

[00:32:00] But be transformed by the renewing of your mind. By the what? By the renewing of your mind. Okay. Okay. So your soul, he's talking about your soul when he says your mind. Your soul is made up of three components. Now you are made up of three components. You have made your spirit. You have a soul. You live in the body. But your soul is made up of three components. One of those three components. Your mind, your will or your desires and your emotions.

[00:32:28] So those things are speaking to your soul. Yeah. Your mind, your will or your desires and your emotions. So anger, this is how we got started along this question. You say, I'm all right.

[00:32:56] But then I'm feeling angry sometimes. You're all right in the spirit. Spirit you is all right. Your mind, your emotions and your mind, your will. The soul you ain't right. Listen up. The soul you ain't right. Because the soul you is angry. You hear what I'm saying? That soul you is angry. Remember, we talked about this. If you sow a thought, you reap a word. If you sow a word, you reap a habit.

[00:33:26] If you sow a habit, if you sow a thought, you reap a word. You sow a word, you reap an action. Sow an action, you reap a what? A habit. Sow a habit, you reap a character. And when you sow a character, let me tell you something, sisters and brothers. You reap a destination. Yeah. So the thoughts are coming to take you somewhere. When the thought came initially into your mind, you was all right. You was rolling with the spirit. You were good as long as you was in the kingdom that righteousness, peace and joy.

[00:33:56] As long as you're being led by the Holy Ghost, you're good. But something happened and it made you angry. Where did it make you angry at? In your soul. Yeah. Because that's where your emotions are, right? Watch this. Watch this. Watch this. Hold on. Watch this. When the thought came, remember I told you this. The thought came to take you where? To a destiny. The thought when I was riding down the road, I've been clean for a year. I'm working somewhere. Man, just go and stop and get you a hood or some Brillo, get you a lighter, some squares,

[00:34:25] and a little 12 ounce or 16 ounce of 211 steel reserve. Well, I never went home for four days. But the thought came to take me there. The thought didn't come from that. The thought came from the enemy. The thought came from my flesh. The thought came from the world. Come on here. So the Bible says be not conformed to this world, but rather be what? Transformed. Renewing of your mind. By the renewing of your mind. That means change. Well, how do I renew my mind?

[00:34:54] With the word. With the word. I got to have the word. The word is the person, the word. I'm not talking about just the logos, theos logos. I'm talking about the person, the living word of God, Jesus himself. Yeshua, homo, shia. Yahweh. Come on. Come on here. That's good stuff. So the way you remedy this stuff, when the devil is coming against your mind, man, you got to begin to speak the word. You got to open your mind.

[00:35:24] You got to encourage your soul. David said in Psalm 42, why am I downcast over my soul? Why am I so disturbed within me? He said, put your hope in God. You got to speak to yourself. You got to encourage yourself. You got to say self. Get yourself together. You got to say self. You need to go down on your knees and pray. You got to say self. You got to tell your feelings, shut up.

[00:35:54] Come on here. That's the truth. You got to tell your feelings, let's be nicer. You got to tell your feelings, Craig. Be quiet. Yeah. Amen. And God is, God is sovereign. Because your feelings will lead you places that God don't want you to be. Am I right about it? Are we right about it? That's right. Y'all all remember that, right? How you remember that, Sister Jeanette? You remember that, Sister Jeanette? How your feelings led you somewhere you weren't supposed to be? You remember that, Sister Deborah?

[00:36:25] You remember that? How your feelings led you? You remember that, Brother Warren? You remember that, Brother Cole? You remember that, Brother Sean? You remember that, Brother Craig? I sure do. My feelings led me somewhere. I had no business. I was in the trail when I should have been at home. I was in the trail when I should have been at work. I was in the trail when I should have been in church. Amen. All right, you hear me now? Amen. Did I answer your question? Yes, sir. Yes, sir. It did.

[00:36:54] When you were talking about the minds got a little bit more deeper, like, as far as, like, when you commit a crime, right? Yeah. And you think about the crime, like, premeditated something. Come on, now. They need more time for premeditating it. You know what I'm saying? So it's kind of like, the mind is a good thing. You know what I'm saying? Because, like, it's power in the mind. So it's like, you're going to do it or you're not going to do it. And if you plan on doing it, now it's in your mind. And now, like you said, you think about it. Now you're dang near going to react it out.

[00:37:24] You remember it's in your mind. Because the process is, exactly. The process is so a thought. Reap a word. If you think on something long enough, you're going to speak it. Man, I'm going to get me one of them. You thought you've been thinking about it. You saw it with your eyes. Remember? The eyes are the lamp of the body, right? If your eyes are full of light, we said that last time, your whole body is full of light. But if your eyes are full of darkness, your whole body is full of darkness. So the way you see a thing determines how you begin to feel about it and what you think about it, right or wrong. Right. Amen.

[00:37:53] I'm glad you asked that question. Right. Amen. So you saw a thought, you reap a word. Saw a word, you reap an action. Saw an action, you reap a habit. So you thought about it long enough. Now you're going to do it. You done said it and now you're going to do it. Right. You're going to the barbershop, you're about to get your hair cut. That's what it is. Or you're about to get some wig put in, some weave or something. You're going to the nail shop, you're going to get your nails done. Come on here, Brother Corey. Go ahead, Brother Corey.

[00:38:22] So it'd be best to be a very thoughtful person than being an emotional person. Because if you go after your emotions first, that means you're going to act before you even think. Yeah. But see, your thoughts influence your emotions. Your thoughts, it's all the soul. It's all the soul to think about it. When a person come in the room and they say something to Corey, right? Before they said anything, you was okay. But the moment they open their mouth and release something into the atmosphere concerning you,

[00:38:51] you're going to feel some kind of way about it. Right or wrong? Right. You're going to think about it first. Yeah. They may speak something that's life, or they may speak something that's death. Remember what the Bible says about your mouth. It's not what goes in that defies you. It's what? Comes out. And the Bible also says that the power of death and life is in where? Your tongue. This thing right here will mess you up. You hear what I'm saying? We got to be careful what we speak to ourselves and to others.

[00:39:21] Amen, my brother. Good comment. But it's like, so you're saying like, because your head is on top of your shoulders, and your ears is next right to your brain. So whatever you hear is going to go into your ears, and it's going to go into your brain. Then whatever's in your brain is going to come out your mouth. Yep, it could. You don't have to let it come out. It's going to have to come out. That's where we get the fruit of the spirit called self-control. See, the Bible says that a man without self-control is like a city with broken down walls.

[00:39:50] See, if you ain't got self-control, which is one of the fruits of the spirit, you out of control. You ain't in control. Yeah. You out of control right now. Come on here. We done all seen that folk being what? Out of control. Amen. Let's move to the next thing right now. So we went through the kingdom mindset is the mind of Christ. We're from the mindset of Christ, amen, and dealing with faith. Amen. Dealing with faith. We went from faith and talking about what? Now we dealt with faith.

[00:40:19] We dealt with the voice of God, which is where we're going today. So let me do this right quick. Go ahead and go to Deuteronomy, Brother Corey, 28 and 1. Sean, so that's Deuteronomy, 28 and 1. Brother Corey. Sean, I want you to get Exodus. Exodus. Hold on. Brother Craig, slow down, slow down, slow down, slow down. Say it again, please. Deuteronomy, 28 and 1. That's for Corey, though. Okay. You can write the scriptures down later.

[00:40:49] Yeah, yeah. Sean, you go to Exodus 15 and 26. Exodus 15 and 26. Sean. 13, 26? Yeah, but yeah. No, you're getting Deuteronomy 28 and 1, Sean. All right, 28 and 1. He's getting Exodus 15 and 26. Warren, you get Psalms 29 and 3. 29 and 3. Jeanette, Sister Jeanette, you get John 10 and 27.

[00:41:19] Sister Deborah, you get Psalms 68 and 33. Psalm 68. Verse 33. Go to that so when I call on you, you can read it. So, Sean got Deuteronomy 28 and 1. Corey has Exodus 15 and 26. You gave me Exodus. You gave me Exodus 15 and 26. Okay, great. Great, great. Okay, great. Warren, you got Psalms 29 and 3.

[00:41:50] Psalms 29 and 3. Right? Yes, sir. And Sister Jeanette has John 10 and 27. And Sister Deborah has Psalm 68 and 3. Let's roll. Go ahead, Brother Corey. Psalm 69 and 3. All right. All right. Here I come. 28 and 1. Yes, sir.

[00:42:22] All right. I done catch you up. Come on here. Okay, go ahead. Go ahead, Brother. Go ahead, Brother. Deuteronomy 28 and 1. Now as she come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God to observe carefully all his commandments, which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. Read it again. Amen. Now as she come to pass.

[00:42:55] Now as she shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God to observe carefully all his commandments, which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. Amen. So we're talking about the voice of God and we said on Tuesday that the voice of God is not limited to your vocabulary. Did we say that? Yes, sir. The voice of God is not limited to your vocabulary or your vocal cords.

[00:43:27] Amen. We know that God at sundry times has spoken to us by the prophets. Right quick. Right quick. Draw your sword right quick. Uh, sister Jeanette, keep your, keep your finger on what I'll read it. I'll read it right quick. Come on here. The voice of God is not limited to your vocabulary. So those two, we're going to go over to the book of Hebrews right quick. Amen. Hebrews, the 12th chapter. Y'all stay with y'all at. And look what it says.

[00:43:58] Amen. Well, I'm gonna go to Hebrews chapter one, chapter one, verse one. It says God who had various times in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by what? The prophets. So God has spoken in, in times past in what? Various ways. So God speaks how? How y'all? In various ways. He doesn't just speak in one way.

[00:44:28] He speaks in various ways. Okay. Cause we're talking about the voice of God. So we said that the voice of God is not limited to your vocabulary. It's not limited to your vocal cords. Okay. It's not limited to your verbal or nonverbal communication. He's not limited to that. God speaks to us in various ways. Yes, he does. Amen. And, and, and, and so we want to, we want to look at those various ways. And so Deuteronomy 28, go ahead and read that again, brother Sean. Deuteronomy 28 one says what?

[00:44:58] Ooh, you gave me, I gotta get to it. You gave me Exodus. Is it? No, no, no, no. Not brother Sean, brother Corey. My bad. You stay on Exodus. Brother Corey. Yes, sir. Go ahead. Deuteronomy 28 one. You said 10 one back then. Same scripture. 28 one. 10 one. 28 one. Same scripture. Same scripture. 28 and one. All right. Now, all the blessings shall come upon you.

[00:45:28] Yes, sir. And I will take you. Yes, sir. Because you obey the voice of the Lord and your God. Amen. So now it shall come to pass that if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord, your God, to observe carefully all his commandments, which I command you today, that the Lord God will set you on high above all the nations of the earth. Now we ought to get excited about that. I don't know about y'all, but I'm excited about that. Hallelujah. You know what that means? I'm going to be, I'm going to be the head and not the tail.

[00:45:58] I'm going to be the lender, not the borer. I'm going to be above all and not beneath. If I obey the voice of God. So you need to know what the voice of God sounds like. Right or wrong? Right or wrong? How you going to obey a voice you don't understand, you don't recognize? Come on here. The Bible says my people pass for a lack of knowledge. If you lack the knowledge of what his voice sounds like, but he said, my sheep hear my voice in another one. They won't follow. Right?

[00:46:28] In revelation, he said, we cover this. He who has ears to hear, let him what? Hear what the spirit says to the church. Right or wrong? So we're talking about the voice of God. It's not limited to vocal cords or your vocabulary. It's not limited to your verbal or nonverbal communication. Come on here. Come on here. Amen. But the voice of God, he speaks in various ways. And we talked about four ways that he generally speaks. I'm recovering this.

[00:46:58] Recapping right quick. Number one, he speaks by his word, primarily by his word. You already took notes, Warren. You took this down in the last class. Amen. Number two, he speaks through dreams and visions. Number three, he speaks by the prophets. And number four, he speaks by his spirit. I'll give you the scriptures on that in a minute. But we're speaking about the voice of God. And we talked about also that the language of God is light. One thing to have the voice of God, but the language that God speaks is not English.

[00:47:27] It's not German. Amen. It's not Spanish. It's not Czech. It's not French. It is light. So anytime you hear light or you see light communicated, guess what? You're actually hearing God. You're experiencing God. Come on here. Come on here. And we'll prove that in just a minute. Okay. Go ahead and read, brother Sean, Exodus 15 and 6. Exodus 15 and 6. Come on, y'all stay with me now. Y'all stay with me.

[00:47:56] I ain't going to take it too fast. Got about 15 minutes left. Come on. Nah, you all, you all, you all, you all, it's all good, man. Exodus 15 and 26. No, 15 and yeah. 15, 26. Thank you. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. And where did God read? And said, if you diligently heed the voice of the Lord, your God. If you what? Wait a minute. If you what? If you what?

[00:48:23] If you did digitally, I don't know how to say it. Diligent. Diligently. Diligently. Diligently. He the voice of the Lord. The what? Whose voice? The voice of the Lord. No, no, no. Wait a minute. Your own voice, right? Nah, the voice of the Lord. Wait a minute. The voice of Jay-Z. The voice of Beyonce, right? Man. I don't think so. I don't think so. The voice of the Lord. The voice of the Lord. Oh, the voice of CNN. The voice of CBS. The voice of NBC. No. The voice of the Lord.

[00:48:53] Oh, the voice of your homegirl. The voice of your roadie. Your comrade. Right? The voice of your partner. The partner that you been crying with. That you hit nicks with. That you boosted with. Right now, he said the voice of the Lord. Read it again, brother. Come on here. Exodus 15, 26. Come on, brother Sean. 15, 26. Yeah. Okay. He the voice of the Lord. Your God.

[00:49:22] And do what is right in his sight. Give ear to his commandments. And keep all his status. I will pit none of the diseases. On you. Which I have brought. On the Egyptians. Oh, so God. Wait a minute. Slow down. We learning something. Boy, look here. Walk real slow. And drink a bunch of water, baby. You're going to get this. So God put the diseases on some of the Egyptians. Yes. Oh, wait a minute. Wait a minute.

[00:49:51] I thought God was a loving God. He is. That's why he whooped them like he did. Like he did. Yeah. Because God will punish those who refuse to do his will. Yes, he will. Because he's a loving God. See, correction is protection. Come on here. God will chastise you by not doing what you're supposed to do. Yeah. All of us. Ain't nobody excluded from the equation. Don't think he won't.

[00:50:19] We just heard what he said because Pharaoh was stiff necked. He was hard hearted. God hardened his heart. You know what I'm saying? He would not let the children of Israel go. He wasn't doing what was right. You understand what I'm saying? Messing with them righteous children of God. But get you in trouble. Come on here. Come on here. He said, I won't put those diseases on you if you hark into my voice.

[00:50:44] So Hollywood, they trying to, they trying to, they got a counterfeit show. It's called The Voice. The Voice. Where do you think they got that from? The Bible. The Bible. That's where they got it from. You see? They trying to make people big and they trying to make people stars. But it ain't really but one star. His name is Jesus. Come on here. Come on here. They got that term, The Voice, from the Bible. From the Bible. Who, what voice? Let me ask you a question.

[00:51:14] What voice are you listening to? I have a voice. What voice are we listening to? Who are we following? Come on here, y'all. Come on here. Y'all lighten up. Come on. Y'all lighten up. Y'all too stiff for me. Come on now. Y'all lighten up a little bit. Lighten up. Come on now. All right. I need the next scripture. I need the next scripture. Psalm 29 and 3, brother one. I think that's you. Everything.

[00:51:45] Go ahead, Juan. Amen. Come on. Read it. The Word of the Lord says, The voice of the Lord is up on waters. The God of glory thundereth. The Lord is up on many more. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. I'm learning something again. He what? He what? He thundereth. Read it again. The voice of the Lord is up on the waters. Yes, sir. The God of glory thundereth. He thundereth. So God's voice, God's voice is likened to thunder. Amen. Amen.

[00:52:17] His voice is likened to thunder. Come on now. Come on now. Keep reading. Keep reading. Amen. The voice of the Lord is powerful. The voice of the Lord is full of majesty. The voice of the Lord is powerful. The voice of the Lord is full of majesty. And we think that that dirty devil and them little imps can stand or overcome the voice of God or what God has said. When you speak the Word of God, that's God's voice.

[00:52:47] Amen. Amen. So that's why the Word is able to save us because it's powerful. Read that again, Juan. Man, that's some powerful stuff there. The voice of the Lord is up on the waters. The God of glory thundereth. The Lord is upon many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful. The voice of the Lord is full of majesty. Come on here. That's some powerful stuff. You better open your mouth and say something. When you open your mouth and speak, guess who comes out?

[00:53:17] God, when you speak that Word, He comes out. Yes, He does. The demons can't stand that. They can't stand that Word. Come on here, y'all. Amen. Put the Word on. Somebody say that. Say that. Put the Word on. Yeah. Anybody. Anybody say, put the Word on. Put the Word on it. Put the Word on. That's what I'm trying to get you to say. Brother Sean, put the Word on them emotions. Put the Word on them lies. Put the Word on them feelings. Put the Word on that warfare.

[00:53:47] You got to say something. When David heard that uncircumcised Philistine named Goliath talking about the army of God, he said, who is this uncircumcised Philistine that dare defy the army of God? Oh, your sword. Hey, man. I take my gad everywhere with me, baby. I take my gad. I take my gad everywhere with me, man.

[00:54:18] You better draw your sword. You better be ready. You better be ready. You ain't ready. You ain't ready. Come on now. All right, now. All right, since Jeanette, let me calm down. Who's shy? Hey, get John 1027. 1027, sister. Come on. Read up, sister Jeanette. All right, you get ready, sister Deborah. Yeah, John. John 1027.

[00:54:47] Don't forget to speak up like we're going to send you some money on your cash app, okay? Just then, his disciples returned and were surprised to find him talking with a woman. But no one asked, would he want? Oh, why are you talking with her? I think so, Johnny. John 1027. John 1027. But, you know, that's all good.

[00:55:15] You know, we love the word. He was talking with that woman. You know what I'm saying? Amen. She heard his voice, too, when he spoke to her. Come on here. John 1027. Read up. My sheep listen to my voice. I know them, and they follow me. Amen. Say it again. Say it one more time. My sheep listen to my voice. I know them, and they follow me.

[00:55:45] That's good news, ain't it, sister? That's good news. So do this for me. Say it one more time with some Holy Ghost boldness. One more time, please. Come on, one more time. Do it for the Lord. Do it for the Lord. Come on. Okay. My sheep listen to my voice. I know them. They follow me. Come on now. My sheep listen to my voice. And they follow me. They not.

[00:56:14] Amen, brother Sean, brother Juan, sister Debbie, sister brother Corey. We ain't going to follow nobody else. We know what that's like. All right, sister Deborah. Psalm 68, verse 33 now. Come on. Let's go. Let's go, team. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Psalm 68, verse 33, sister Deborah. Ring. 33. 33. My sheep will listen to me. He said. He would just.

[00:56:44] I'd say I'd say. He's peeing in the glass. To him that riding upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old, to he do it, send out his voice and that a mighty voice. Read it again. Read it real bold. Read it real bold. One more time, sister.

[00:57:09] Like somebody cuts you a piece of sweet potato pie. Come on now. Okay. To him that riding upon his heavens of heavens, which were of old, lo, he do it, send out his voice and that a mighty voice. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. What a blessing. All right. We're going to do one more of these. Go to Psalms 85.

[00:57:40] Everybody. Everybody's going to go to that. Psalm 85. Psalms 85, verse 5. Oh, 85. Psalms 85, verse 5. Psalms 85, actually, Psalms 85, verse 8. 85, verse 8. 85, verse 8. And I'll read that one. Psalms 85, verse 8 says, I will hear what God, the Lord will speak.

[00:58:07] For he will speak peace to his people and to his saints. But let them not turn back to folly. Okay. Read it again. Real bold, Craig. I will hear what the Lord will speak. For he will speak peace to his people and to his saints. But let not them turn back to folly. Amen. Amen. So what we're dealing with, we're dealing with, once again, the voice of God.

[00:58:34] That was Psalms 85, verse 8. Okay. Psalms 85, verse 8. Okay. Let me reiterate this to you right quick. We got about eight minutes left, about six minutes left. Number one, God speaks through his word primarily. That's listed in 2 Timothy 3, verse 16 through 17. 2 Timothy 3. You can write this down if you're taking notes.

[00:59:02] 2 Timothy 3, chapter, verse 16 through 17. He speaks to us also in dreams and visions. 3, 16, 17. Yeah. He speaks to us in dreams and visions. That's also listed in Job 33, 15 through 18. Job 33, 15 through 18. Job 33, 15 through 18. The prophet Joel. What now? 33, what? Joel 2, verse 28. Also in dreams and visions. I gave you two scriptures for dreams and visions.

[00:59:31] Job 33, 15 through 18. And Joel 2 and 28. Number three, he speaks to us by the prophets. By the prophets. Luke 24 and 27. Luke 24 and 27. And then the fourth one is he speaks to us by the Holy Spirit. By his spirit. Matthews 10 and 20. Matthews 10 and 20. 2 Samuel 23 and 2.

[01:00:00] 2 Samuel 23 and 2. And John 16 and 13. What was Matthew? What was Matthew? Matthews 10 and 20. Okay. That is John 16 and 13 is the last one. John 16 and 13. Amen. Amen. So we just really want to look at the fact that God is light. God is light, man. God. We're talking about kingdom mindset.

[01:00:28] Within that, we said that the kingdom mindset is the mind of Christ. We dealt with faith. We dealt with our mind. We dealt with hearing the voice of God. We said that the voice of God is not limited to your vocabulary or your verbiage or your voice box. It's not limited to your verbal or nonverbal communications. And we looked at Hebrews 1 chapter verse 1. God has spoke to us in various ways in sundry times. Amen.

[01:00:55] And we know we listed those four ways he primarily speaks to us, but it's not limited to these four ways. And that is by the word, by dreams and visions. That is by the prophets and by the spirit. Amen. We all in one accord. Amen. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Now we want to move into God being light. God being light. Amen. And his word is light. Amen. Amen. And so we're going to look at a couple of scriptures right quick. Psalms 119. We'll close with this one.

[01:01:24] And we'll pick up here on Tuesday. Psalms 119 and verse 30. Everybody go to Psalms 119 and verse 30. Says something real interesting. We already read this the other day on Tuesday. But I just want to read it again. Want to read it again in your hearing just to remind you that the word is really powerful. Psalms 119 verse 30 says, the entrance of your word gives light. It gives understanding to the simple.

[01:01:54] So if you don't understand, you need to spend a lot of your time in the word of God. Come on here. We need to spend a lot of time in the word anyway. But if you really want to understand any of things, begin to read the word more and more. Begin to expose yourself more to the word. Brother Sean, brother Corey, brother Juan, sister Deborah, and sister Jeanette, wherever you are. And brother Reggie also, too, and brother Craig. Amen.

[01:02:20] Psalm 119 verse 130 says, the entrance of your word gives light. That's a principle, y'all. Everybody understand that that is a principle. That if you don't have the word of God, you're in the darkness. Come on here. So, hey, brother Craig. Hey, Psalms 130 verse, Psalms 119 verse 130. At the entrance of thy word, give it light.

[01:02:50] If you don't have the word of God, you're in the darkness. Can somebody cut on the light, please? Can somebody cut the light on for me? Where is the light switch at? See, when you read the word, it's like cutting on a light switch. Other than that, you're moving in the darkness. So the world needs what we have. What's coming upon the world, judgment. Amen.

[01:03:20] They're going to have to come to the light of the church. Come to the light of Christ. Jesus is the light of the world. And he calls you lights. He said he is the father of light. Come on here. Yeah. You are the light. You have the answer. Yeah. You have the solution in you. Come on here. You have the treasure, that treasure in this earth investor. Come on now. Come on now. Read it one more time. The entrance of thy word gives light. You need the word to have light.

[01:03:50] If you ain't got the word, brother Juan, tell him, brother Juan. They ain't got light. And without light, you stumbling. Without light in the dark, you don't know where you going. Amen. Are we right about it? Yes, sir. Amen. Praise. Give the Lord a hand. Praise God for today's time. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah, y'all. Cheer up, y'all. Cheer up. Y'all got to cheer up. Y'all got to cheer up a little bit. I'll be back to see y'all in a little while. Amen.

[01:04:21] Praise Jesus. Anybody have any closing questions, concerns, or issues? Anybody. Anybody, everybody. Somebody. Sister Depp, you look like something on your mind back there. I'm all right. You all right? Yes. Amen. Praise Jesus. What about you, brother Corey? You got any concerns, questions, or issues? No, I'm finna just go study what I wrote down.

[01:04:49] All I wrote down, I got to process it in. All right. I got to process it in. I got to eat it like a bird right now. I'm finna go get in the book and see how it looks. Come on here. The word is a mirror. The word of God is a mirror. It's going to show you where you are. It's going to show you where you are. What about you, brother Sean, minister Sean? Any questions, concerns, or issues, my brother? No, sir. All right. I love y'all, man. And guess what?

[01:05:19] Guess what? I love you independently. There's nothing you can do about it. I love you independently of you loving me back, which means even if you don't love me back, I still love you. All right. All right. Now, close us out with a word of prayer, brother Corey. Come on here. Amen. I want to praise out today and thank brother Craig for the good teaching and good seminar,

[01:05:46] good class today, feeding our brains and blessing us with the good word of God. And hopefully, I mean, today we're going to have a good day and the rest of the day going to be good and prosperous. Yes. And in Jesus' name, and I pray that everybody had a good vibe and good intentions and just end out the day like that. Just way it started. In Jesus' name. In Jesus' name. Amen. Praise God. Praise God, y'all. Amen. Praise God. Praise the Lord. All right.

[01:06:16] All right. I love y'all, man. Thank you, too. Y'all keep us in prayer. Keep us in prayer. I got the devotional book already copywritten. I got the ISBN number to it. And I'm trying to load it up on Barnes & Noble so we can all be blessed by it, amen. We can get not just the e-book but the paperback copy so y'all keep everything in prayer. Oh, I see how you drew a Mickey Mouse, man. I'm ready. We're going to go to business. Come on here, man.

[01:06:46] Come on here, bro. Come on here. Go get it. Make bedspreads, bedsheets, comforters, whatever. Go get it. Go get it, brother Juan. Boy, you ain't joking, man. You ain't joking. You ain't joking.
